We monitor the weather conditions continually, dispatching
our gritters at the first indication from the Met office of
temperatures at zero degrees centigrade or below in your area.
By using the MET Office data, we have access to the most accurate
weather predictions available.
Proactive and Reactive Gritting
Services
With our proactive, automated service, our gritters will operate
before 6am to ensure your business grounds are safe &
accessible at the start of your working day. We will monitor
temperatures for you and dispatch gritters where necessary,
without the need for you to request our services each time.
For snow clearing, or extra gritting services, a reactive service
is available. Requests can be made directly to NWH for gritters
and snow ploughs to be dispatched to your business grounds at
any time.
- Our service includes the monitoring
of weather forecasts, supply and distribution of rock salt
and snow clearance.
- All our customers are supplied emergency
telephone numbers, which they can call at any time, day
or night.
- Our service is bespoke to each customer’s
specific requirements.
- Our teams of gritters are on standby
throughout the winter period, to ensure vehicles are dispatched
where required, at a moments notice.
- To ensure efficient coordination of
our gritters, all vehicles are fitted with GPRS tracking
units.
