NWH
Plant hire Ltd was established in July 2006 as a natural addition
to The NWH Group, providing an extra service range to our
customers within the construction industry. Since its inception,
£2.8 million has been invested in new machinery. The
plant hire division now comprises of 30 quality machines ranging
from 13 to 35 tonne JCB excavators, 30 tonne Terex dump trucks
and D65 Komatsu Bulldozers. We also have a wide range of Extec
tracked crushers and Powerscreen screeners. In addition to
our carefully selected machinery, all our plant machinists
are skilled operators with CITB certification.
NWH Plant hire Ltd is equipped to service the whole of Scotland’s
central belt and we have secured our place in the plant hire
market through our commitment to high quality service.

Both tracked
and wheeled excavators are available from NWH Plant hire Ltd
in a variety of sizes. Our excavators are typically used on
house building sites and general construction projects. Wheeled
excavators are used where mobility of operation is the primary
concern, for example on road repair projects. A selection of
buckets, grapples & munchers are available for our tracked
or wheeled excavators and are all hammer pipe enabled to operate
with hydraulic breakers.

Available from NWH Plant Hire, our
wheeled loading shovels have a bucket capacity of 3.6m3
and are available with flat-edge or teeth buckets.

25 and 30 tonne dump trucks are available
for hire from NWH Plant Hire. For site safety, all our dump
trucks have reversing bleepers, cameras and amber beacon flashing
lights. As all our dump trucks have been road taxed, they are
suitable for projects which involve road use. Our 30 tonne dump
trucks all have enclosed back doors. The maximum payload on
our 25 tonne and 30 tonne dump trucks is 25 tonne and 28 tonne,
respectively.

Bulldozers
are also available at NWH Plant hire. Our D65 PX LGP’s
are ideal for working on soft ground and come with standard
blades of 13ft 2in wide.

Extec
C12 Tracked Crushers
|
Extec tracked crushers are available for crushing rock and inert
materials in quarries, construction sites and recycling facilities.
The crushers are designed to crush material into secondary aggregate
building materials, such as 6f2. Please click

Powerscreen
Tracked Screeners

NWH Plant hire is
equipped to offer Powerscreen tracked screeners for dry screening
inert materials. These high capacity mobile dry screeners are
capable of producing either 2 or 3 products, as required. Our
screeners have been designed for a quick installation and ease
of relocation, ideal for short to medium term projects.
