Introduction

At NWH Recycling, we have the luxury of one of the most comprehensive aggregates recycling facilities in Scotland. Based at Mayfield Industrial Estate, Dalkeith (click for contact details), we focus on construction, demolition and Industrial waste and are equipped to recycle material into premium aggregates. With this type of non-active waste, our facility enables us to achieve a near 100% recycling rate.

In addition to aggregate recycling, we also take great care to sort as much of the additional skip waste that enters both our Dalkeith facility and our Edinburgh based facility in Leith (click to contact address). We undertake a sorting procedure on all waste, segregating wood, scrap metal, cardboard and polythene to reduce our overall output to landfill.

Our recycling facility is designed to ultimately reduce the tonnage of waste sent to landfill sites. By minimising our waste output, NWH and our customers benefit from reducing the associated costs and impacts of landfill on the environment. Not content with just diverting waste away from landfill, our recycling facility ensures that waste material is processed to provide premium products. We are proud of our high quality aggregates and they are tested regularly by independent laboratories to ensure highway specifications are met.
